New website launch!
Ok, so we've been at this for four years now. October of 2008 we started this whole thing and launched our original web site. Since then we've planted over 15,000 trees. I'm not always into numbers because more importantly there is the whole quality and quantity thing to consider. We've planted trees as large at 20 feet tall and some as small as 10 inches. We always do our best to plant the right tree in the right spot. No matter the size, every one counts and is helping to make a difference!
We now have directors in three different states. Jessica is in NC and Daniel is in Oregon. And I'm here in Nashville TN. Our latest tree planting effort is taking place in Nicaragua.
To make things even more exciting we launched the Nashville Bicycle Alliance this year. We're working on a local level to promote zero-carbon transportation.
So, this is a short post but I want to get things rolling. I actually need to get out and do some tree planting. Here we go.... New web site, New planting season, New ideas, New faces, but as always the same ole saying... "Wanna Help the Planet? Help Plant It! " Go get 'cha a shovel, plant a tree, and let us know about it. We can add it to our catalog! And if you can't plant a tree, we'll plant one for you! Please visit the SoundForest.org Store and make a donation and we'll plant trees on your behalf!
All the best.
