August 21st | Sunday | Bongo Bike Parade | 5 mile circle route
This year Ellie Lee got into a severe bicycle accident resulting in a decent hospital stay and multiple surgeries. We want to help. Which is why we are helping create this event. We are going to raise money and hopefully in the years to come we can continue this ride and raise money for other causes. Join us and ride to raise money for Ellie Lee.

September 11th - 17th | a couple days to a week | Brat Bike Ride Accross Tennessee| many miles round trip
This one to seven-day ride will start at Montgomery Bell State Park and features a combination of rolling hills, valleys, and some flat terrain. The tour will include a balance of some long-distance rides and some short distance days designed to challenge expert cyclists, while accommodating recreational riders.

September 24th | Saturday | Soldier Ride Nashville| TBA
Soldier Ride is a WWP initiative that provides rehabilitative cycling opportunities across the country to help wounded warriors restore their physical and emotional well-being. It's also a wonderful opportunity for the public to participate in a cycling event that honors the men and women of our military who sacrificed so much! The event helps raise funds for WWP initiatives and programs.

October 1st and 2nd | Saturday to Sunday | Bike to Jack and Back | 150 miles
This two day ride will start in Franklin and finish in Lynchburg. This event will benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society by providing funding for the on-going research to help find a cure for MS.

October 15th | Saturday | Cumberland River Challenge 2011 | 11, 31, and 62 mile courses
The Friends of the Cumberland River Bicentennial Trail is having its 12th annual bike ride to support and maintain the trail. Come out and ride the hills and valleys of the Cumberland River Basin in Cheatham and Montgomery Countirs while enjoying this challenging ride in the beautiful autumn weather.

Let's get together and enjoy a celebration of bicycles, craft beers, and good times. Come on out, it's time to get funky with us!

If you choose to ride in the parade, and you should, the relaxed route starts at Centennial Park and meanders a 5 mile loop. $5 donation
